About GTU's peer-reviewed and refereed scientific-periodical journal
The journal "Works" was founded in 1924. The editor of the first issue was academician Niko Muskhelishvili. Periodicity of the journal is 4 issues per year. To date, 532 issues of scientific works have been published.
The collection of works is indexed in various international and local information systems:
The works of GTU have been assigned the International Standard Serial Number ISSN 1512-0996.
Since 2000, the articles have been referred in the polythematic Georgian Abstract Journal in Georgian and English languages.
The abstracts of articles in Georgian and English languages are displayed in the database – Georgian Publications.
Since 2015, the journal has been registered in the Index Copernicus International Database of Central European scientific-research journals.
Since 2019, with the support of the university’s leadership and the scientific research institute Techinformi, the journal has been assigned the Digital Object Identifier – DOI.
Since 2019, the articles and abstracts of the agricultural topic are exported to the international information system of agriculture and technology of the United Nations UN FAO AGRIS. Techinformi is the national hub of this system in Georgia.
Since 2021, the journal is registered and all articles published in it are reflected in the search engine Google Scholar.
Since 2022, the journal has been registered in the Iverieli electronic library fund of the National Library of Georgia.
Since 2023, GTU’s refereed and peer-reviewed scientific periodical journal “Works” is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0.).
Since March 2024, the journal has been assigned the Index of Eurasian Scientific Journals and is added to their database — Eurasian Scientific Journal Index.
Since 2024, the journal have been registered in the International Scientific Indexing (ISI) database and have been assigned an Impact Factor. According to the ISI database, the Impact Factor of the journal's was determined as 3.792.
